Some of you might be aware that last year saw the first World Hearing Voices Day on September 14th. There many different events all over the world.

I am organising a conference with a colleague who works for a charity. The conference will be on the 14th and it should be quite exciting! There will speakers [including Dutch guest] - voice hearers/critical thinking professionals. There will be workshops on; starting a hearing voices group/challenging voices, clairvoyant/mediums on psychic self-defence, hearing voices and sensory impairment [deafness], positive experiences of hearing voices, hearing voices in learning environments [colleges/higher education], portrayals of voices in the media/films and how we can do better!
There will be dance, art exhibitions, stands
I will post details when the venue and final details have been confirmed, and I hope lots of you come, both voice hearers and supporters/professionals, everyone will be welcome. It will be made as accessible as possible for voice hearers to attend, professionals will obviously be charged more.
If the group wanted a free stand let me know.

Thanks Lou -
sounds good.
I think we probably would want a stand - good way of making contacts.
Where are you planning to hold the conference?

We can also start thinking about what we'd like to do for World Hearing Voices Day in Sussex.
