Famous people who've heard voices

On the main part of the website, there's a list of some famous people who have heard voices - including Alfred Wallis the painter, Zoe Wannamaker the actress and John Nash, the Nobel Prize winner. I think this is really helpful as it shows that really successful people also hear voices and can give people hope. I also read on another part of the chat forum that Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys had heard voices. Does anyone know of any other famous or successful people who have heard voices?

yes - some of the people I work with find it really helpful and uplifting to know about famous people - I guess it can give hope.
Two psychology types come to my mind:
1st - Carl Jung - the famous psychoanalyst who wrote about the collective unconscious
2nd - Rufus May who is a clinical psychologist now aand has appeared on radio and TV and said that he has heard voices and been an inpatient too

I watched the film "regeneration this week". I think that it is based on fact. It showed one of the first world war poets hearing voices. I forget which one.
