Just to let everyone know that the Lewes Hearing Voices group will be starting on Friday 29th September. The group will be held at 47a Western Road, Lewes from 1:30 - 3:00pm. If you are interested in attending or for more information please contact:

The groups is open to anyone who lives in Sussex, hears voices and is interested in talking about their experiences of hearing voices with others.
this is great news Louise - I'm glad that we have another hearing voices group in East Sussex. I know people have really valued the Eastbourne and Hastings groups. Is there anything on the other part of this website to let people know?

The Lewes hearing voices group has been running for three weeks now and is going well. If you are interested in attending or finding out more about the group then I can be contacted on 07785716955. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming and some really interesting discussions have already started.
that sounds great - what kinds of things have you all been talking about?
We talked about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy last week as people were interested to find out more about it. We looked at how it could be used to help with a specific example from someone and as a group we looked at all the worrying thoughts and then challenged them by finding positive alternatives
